Hassidic Paintings showcases original art by James Stock - born in South Africa, now living in NSW, Australia.

The motivation to paint again, expressing emotions and an appreciation of the joy of life through Hassidic themes, is the inspired consequence of a near death experience in 2010. 

Vibrant and unconventional colour choices are a signature of James's work.

Uplifting scenes of Hassidic life, dance and celebrations, biblical references and detailed portraits convey an appreciation and respect for the essence of the Hassidic way.

Originally painted as oil on canvas, these artworks are reproduced as pigment on cotton rag paper, using the highest quality printing techniques on fine art archival printing machines. 

The result is striking, and true to the soul of the original works.

Prints are available to order in 3 sizes, with a portion of the proceeds directed back into the community.
